This is a great chord vocabulary workout.
The idea is to chromatically increment or decrment the melodic note with each chord change.
The V chord is also known as an altered chord i.e. 'E7 Alt'.
This means destroy the chord with as many funky notes as you can. This allows for interesting chords!
Take your time
It takes a while to get used to the chord voicings so do not rush or give in.
When you feel ready, just mix and match as you please.
Also, make sure you understand the chord names. There are usually a couple of choices you can go with, see if you can spot chords with same notes but different names, or even different/extra notes but still the same name.
