3 Pentatonic Scales Shapes as Licks

These three pentatonic scale shapes are all E minor/G Major.

The idea is to get you thinking of applying different concepts like 3 note a pattern over a four note rhythm, and then developing your own ideas.

The licks aim to keep in easily recognisable sounds rather than some bundle of notes that might make a good lick but you do not know how to interpret them.

They are all difficult, and require care and attention.

Focus on finger choices and picking patterns.

I have added suggested finger choices and picking patterns, but they are just that, suggestions.

Just be consistent when learning them.

And also try to embellish them, end them your own way, add cool twists and turns etc.
